Digital Eclipse Arcade: Jollyball

Happy Holidays! Jollyball is the latest release from Digital Eclipse Arcade, a series of all-new games inspired by classic '80s arcade vibes.

Making toys is hard work, and even Santa's elves need a break. Thankfully, the North Pole Elfletic League gives everyone at the Workshop a workout. The Winter Invitational is underway, giving all of Santa's helpers the chance to be crowned seasonal champions of the North Pole's most popular 2-on-2 sport: Jollyball. (It's like standard volleyball, only much cooler.) The teams are ready, the net has been set, the Power-up Presents are primed, and there's fresh snow on the court — are you ready to sleigh the competition?

Instructions

• A team must return the ball within 3 hits
  
• The same player can't hit the ball twice in a row
  
• The ground marker helps you plan your next move
  
• First to the point limit wins (must win by 2). Matches can be set for 7, 14, or 21 points.

Gameplay Hints

• Mash the Jump button to power up a Super Spike for a powerful return.
  
• Power-up Presents may appear at any time during play. Grab them for a bonus until the end of the point!
  
• You can customize the color of your elf's outfit using the right analog stick/R3.

Game Controls

• Move: Joystick
  
• Jump: Button 1
  
• Hit Ball: Button 2
  
• Super Spike: Repeatedly tap Jump, then press Hit

Additional Options

• F1 toggles CRT scanlines on/off
  
• F2 toggles CRT curvature on/off
  
• F3 switches window size in windowed mode
  
• Back button on controller accesses CRT/windowed options
  
• F9 resets the game
  
• Alt-Enter toggles between 16:9 fullscreen and 4:3 windowed mode
  
• M toggles music on/off
